At Illinois State University we drove to Buras, LA and volunteered in an after school program at a FEMA trailer park. To learn more about our project, come to our presentation at the NAEA New Orleans convention on Wednesday at 10am. We will have info about the ogranization we worked with as well as a video of footage of our experience.
Also, for those of you going to the New Orleans convention, there are volunteer opportunities available that week in the region. Check out the NAEA Convention website for more info.
